Josh Dupree started out playing music in 2000 with two discmans and two stereos, In 2004 he got a residency at Rose’s Lounge, during this residency he gained a lot of experience behind the decks with vinyl. He came in contact with other DJ’s such as laidback Luke and Olav Basoski, which enabled him to enhance his skills. Josh Dupree used to play mainstream lounge and house from labels such as Hed Kandi and Defected. Now he is into the Ohm Records imprint, being influenced by Mark Farina and DJ Sneak. He blends modern sounds: his sound synthesizes deephouse, acid jazz and funky house with a dash of electro. No wonder he won the AHC Dutch national DJ contest.
