Need a gift for a gifted musician?
"Tear Drop" by Massive Attack is a remix I started recenlty and I feel its a project I could continue to work on ceaselessly for the rest of my life so I need to go ahead and just wrap it up/get it mastered. I'm working on other Production right now that I'm really pleased with over all.
BEST DJ mixes I've probably ever done: Speaker Cushion & Yes That Beat. Don't get me wrong, Junkies Crave Sugar and Skinny Pretty are really really awesome but something about those two mixes I just love.

Along with DJ’n regular FM radio spots, clubs and underground events, he is also focusing on music production. Josh has been a six year moderator on www.Enation.org, a message board for the electronic music scene in Florida. He is also a regular guest on The Perimeter on Kiss105.3, a weekly FM radio show broadcasting to north Florida. From 2002-2004 Josh helped host a weekly radio show on 100.5fm The Buzz called, “Vinyl Destination”. He has held residencies at several top notch clubs in north Florida over the years including: Plasma Lounge, Skyy, Jet Set, Vibe and Platinum. He has shared the stage with such acts as: Oscar G., DJ Keoki, Eddie Richards, DJ Icey and James Zabiela all over Florida from Jacksonville, Orlando, Miami and everywhere in between.
Josh plays in all environments from clubs, to underground all night dance parties to outside music festivals. He’ll play 2 to 8 hours of deep pounding house and breaks that keeps the dance floor moving. His was first musically influenced by Bob Dylan and Rolling Stones records. He dug deeper into his parents record bin and found that there was a wide variety of music he enjoyed. At an early age Josh began playing the guitar and bass in a few bands. After learing to play the drums he got involved in EDM & started listening to downtempo and Drum N Bass. He developed an acute sense of what people wanted to hear by going to shows and seeing what really moved the audience. His musical journey in electronic music took Josh from downtempo to trance, to breaks, out there and back again to all different types of music that makes the dance floor move.
Josh Wickham plays a variety of electronic music. One thing remains constant: huge nasty bass lines and beats you can’t help but shake your body to! He is known for mixing quality sets that are deep and energetic.
“I’m into this music because I love it! The hot heavy bass lines and non stop rhythm mixed with percussion is something I just can’t get enough of… I see cats doing this DJ/club routine, all too often, for the wrong reasons. I bring my positive energetic vibes to my music and onto the dance floor for everybody. I have an insatiable ear palette which is why I think I love house music so much. It always changes and evolves just like life. You can really hear that in the tunes I produce.”
Josh continues to grind away making new music. DJing and bringing his positive energy to parties and people everywhere is his mission. Stay linked to www.SafeHouseDJs.com for upcoming shows, tracks. For booking information contact Jessica Robin @ Back Alley Beats.
