About

Always absorbing inspiration from different environments, Josh T is a diverse DJ, who's colourful sets have been influenced by much over his musical career. Be it parties, DJs, genres or even cities, Josh's style is always subtly evolving, he's a house DJ but his sets are expansive, quirky and interesting.

He's been playing with records since 16, and a music nerd way before that, but it was in Leeds where things began to really get moving, the city he moved to in his early twenties. Releases and gigs came locally soon enough, but co founding and running the now 6 year old club night Louche was his major starting block. Now operating in Leeds and London, he his mate and colleague Brinsley have taken Louche right to the very top, and as Louche has grown, so has Josh's status.

Much like his DJ sets, Josh's productions are an assortment of differing stimulations. His discog so far includes groovy disco edits, synthy deep house and even some RnB infused ambient beats, for labels like Odd Socks, Hot Waves and Illusion. All tunes slightly different, but all with soul and style, lovingly created on his trusty MPC, Juno and DX 7.

Now at 28 and living in Berlin, Josh's perversion with music is greater than ever. With new tunes being written on a regular basis, new releases set to drop and Louche Berlin soon to get off the ground, things are looking pretty, prettyyy bright.
