Joseph Dene, Born 'Paul Joseph McDougall' 29th September 1989, is a singer/songwriter from Liverpool, a yet to be discovered musical talent. His song writing skills are far beyond his years. His songs are deep, meaningful and come from the heart accompanied by a husky soulful tone and a nack for hitting all the right notes. If to be described in one word, his music would be best described as 'Organic'. Joseph has a wide range of musical influences, with from a young age being surrounded by music such as Soft Rock, Soul and also country, this being identifiable in both his music and vocals. He is relatively new to the Liverpool music scene but has already began making a name for himself. So much has been acomplished from his writing and performing. 'In the modern world where music influences the youth and identically, the youth influences the music, it can be difficult to find deep, meaningful songs from young yet mature musicians. Liverpool is the best place for music in the entire world, biased my opinion may be, but it's true. This young lad is one in which i first witnessed in a small pub about a year ago. My initial impression was that he had been going quite a few years. His voice had the husk and roughness that only artists like Rod Stewart and Bryan Adams demonstrate yet the soothing and almost-fragile vocals of individuals like Joe Cocker. His guitar work, mainly capo-ed, dittos the vocals with a chilled out easy listening feel to his songs. Just 12 months on and Joseph has achieved so much. With an amazing backing band and brand new songs. Check out his pages and website and listen for yourself, he deserves it. Songs such as 'The Way I See and 'Made For Me' dont come around often, so get on this fella before half of Britain does.'
