Joseph Brooks is a rising Alternative Synth-Pop artist from New York with a arty lean towards forward thinking, 80's influenced, yet modern sound. With influences as varied and far ranging as Depeche Mode, Abba, Tears for Fears and Imogen Heap. The art of crafting meticulous sonicscapes with a robust pop hooks. Joseph's debut ep, "Only Hope" was produced in Nashville,TN with producer Evan Sieling and its first single "Believe Me". FlexibleFriends Records duo "Computer Speaking" and Italian Dj's "Andrea Ferrini and Tina Telli" have remixed "Believe Me". His music was featured prominently in the worldwide network premiere film "Shattered Silence". Joseph's spiritual leanings bring a deeper pulse behind every 808 beat or modular analog synth, as well as inspiration from daydreams and long car rides. Think an 80s soundtrack to a parallel universe of a John Hughes film and you come close to the sound of your heart.
