My Tainostar Album was a real experiment, a sort of experimental phase for me with electronic music. My parents and family are Dominican and I wanted to create an electronic track that reflects a sort of tribute to that. I called it Santo Domingo which is the name of the capitol of the Dominican Republic. This song epitomizes a sense of escape from the cold winters of NYC that I felt every time I'd fly down to the Caribbean.
