About

Was born in Genoa. His love for music begins when he's still crawling on his knees and saw his brother portable record player: it was love at first sight! With the years his love for music grew up, and from 10 to 14 played piano. He's just 14 when he starts to go the most famous club of his own town, Ragusa (Sicily); he can't realize those twelve hundreds under the dj’s hands would become his greatest love yet, but fully understands the potential behind the mixing technique. Jose starts spinning records in the same club three years later, experiencing many musical genres.
Two years later he moves to the biggest South Italy's club “Koala Maxi”, where he works as resident for almost 10 years. Three years in Cork (Ireland) allows him to collect a huge collection of re-edits and oddities he couldn't easily get in his own town.
The musical scene seems to have no barrier for him: soul to techno, afro to jazz. That’s why his sets are always unexpected.
His single “As One” is charted no. 9 in Beatport “Must Hear Deep Track” for November 2011. He’s also made a delightful RnB remix for Aaron Tesser under Irma Records, and the new single with Sicania Soul, “This All Gone”, where the resonances, echoes and reverbs throughout the score come along with the motion of the solosynth.
Since December 2010 he founded ''Know The Code'' with Jitzu, a clubbing laboratory and label that works on organizing gigs with some of the most famous producers from the international scene.
Jose is now working on a series of tracks, two of them are going to see the light before this summer. You can get his tracks on Inndigital.com.
