With so much fine new music with an old school flavour washing around the world today, it's has heralded the birth of a new generation of DJ, with one foot firmly planted in the past and one in the future, straddling the pantheon of good grooves and distilling what's best about it for today's dancefloors.

Jordan Wade is one of the finest examples of this new breed of musicologist. With residencies at Spacestation, Ministry of Sound, Ibiza Rocks and The Nest, this promoter come DJ utilises his acute knowledge of things that have gone before to serve up a fusion of modern disco house, drawing from classic elements of rnb, funk, soul, hip hop, techno and acid which not only satisfies, but exhilarates too.
