Randy Voller Interview Candidate for Chair of NC State Democratic Party

Mary Alice Thatch, publisher of the Wilmington (NC) Journal, and co-chair of the "Wilmington Ten Pardons of Innocence Project," spoke to the crowd of hundreds gathered at historic Gregory Congregational United Church of Christ on Saturday, January 5, 2013 to see members of the Wilmington Ten honored with the certificates of pardon, signed by Gov. Beverly Perdue, declaring them innocent. The 40-year long injustice was finally, and officially, coming to an end. In this short (1:31) excerpt, Ms. Thatch expresses her gratitude to Mayor (of Pittsboro, NC) Randy Voller for his work against social and legal injustice and his support of Gov. Perdue's decision to pardon the Wilmington 10.
