What a soulful singer/songwriter she is, Chris O (2). I'm grateful for her faith, inspiration and hard work on this project. And of course, the perfect addition of her own special writing and vocal mix concepts and skills. If you appreciate the genuine sound in blues like I do, please visit her SC page: Chris O (2)

When I wrote this guitar part, I knew it was begging for something special that I would be unable to procure on my own. I left it alone to wait for the right ingredient. Eventually, I opened Chris' SC page and was stunned by the genuine and sincere sound of her blues work. Her work was no regurgitation of the blues, it WAS the blues. It was a direct tapping-into of the source. I listened, I watched, I waited (ok, stalked, lol!). Finally I got the nerve to contact her, expecting little or no response. To my delight, she opened up right off because she is a very nice and approachable person. And because I had the fortitude to dismiss my concerns for potential for ego injury or death through the probable rejection of my collaboration request, I now have this gorgeous track on my page. And as is her way, she has made this track so approachable and accessible, giving it a direction and a sense of identity. Thank you Chris, you are a gem!

    Here are Chris' Lyrics:

    "Nomad Strum"

Never going home, I ain’t ever going home again.

Moving on again, out on the Road again,
we're out on the Road, back on the Road.
    Never going home again.

    Strains of wandered rhymes
    Calling traveler times
    Touching life divine
    Tracking old Songlines

Moving on again, out on the Road again,
we're back on the Road out on the Road again,
    never going home.

Don’t say we can’t be here!
Don’t say we have no right!
Don’t say we can’t be here,
    touching Life!

    Southern stars behind our backs,
carrying the World inside our sacks,
    out on the Road!

Moving on again, out on the Road again,
we're back on the Road, out on the Road.
    Moving on again.

    Calling traveler times.
    Tracking old Songlines.
    Strains of wandered rhymes.

    Out on the Road.
