Born and raised in Puerto Rico, Jonglist  first came across American music in the summer of '96. From then on he's been influenced by the music played around him. Everything from Hip-Hop, Reggae, R&B, Neo-Soul and of course the typical Spanish music around the house. 



Around the time he was twelve, he started listening to House Music in the airwaves at night. With the Chicago and NY House producers using Jazz samples in their tracks, he thought it'd be interesting to see what it had to offer. Greats such as John Coltrane, Miles Davis, Eddie Harris, Dizzy Gillespie and Kool & the Gang were big influences. Around High School, he delved deeper into electronic music. Unsatisfied with what he heard on the airwaves, he looked for something more. 



At 17, his cousin introduced him to Drum & Bass. Starting him off with producers like Pendulum, Concord Dawn, the Bad Company and Metalheadz Crew and a few others. He progressively found his style and leaned towards the atmospheric side. A few months later after practicing with his cousin's turntables, Jon got records of his own and finally found his style of Jungle. Now, 5 years later, Jon's working with Altruism Entertainment. Spreading the good word on Liquid Funk and good vibes.
