A few grains of wheat amidst a mountain of chaff - but you need more fiber in your diet, right? I'm an unskilled bedroom studio musician, sharing my messy, mistake-laden, self-indulgent, mostly improvised music with you.
Sounds posted here are only the tip of the iceberg; my head is full of all kinds of stuff, not yet created. (And, there's lots gathering dust.) None of my music, so far, is polished, well played, "produced," or ready for prime time (or even listening to twice, many would say). Still, I hope to create abstract electronic, IDM and techno, glitch, Berlin School, experimental jazz, classical, ambient soundscapes, psychedelic space music, and good ole blues and rock and roll.
Life is too short. I am pretty obsessed with music and sound, and creating new stuff - whether or not I'm good at it. I think everyone should make music, or create something artistic. I like music by People (even if made with machines). I tend to be very anti-commercial. I have many electronic, software, and mechanical instruments I want to build. I'm best at guitar (and quite bad at it), but also love synthesizers, and all instruments. I think I'd like to try collaboration some day, but I'm difficult to work with.
Life in all its diversity is a multi-splendored thing; never forget to appreciate it. The most important skill a musician must have is the ability to listen. Create.
[Obligatory note, given the endless abuse of social media in this shameless era: I DO NOT follow you just because you follow me (nor do I expect you to follow me because I follow you!); I mute people who "like" without listening; no one likes 500 tracks per minute; don't like or follow me if you EXPECT reciprocation; I report all spammers. If I like or comment, I mean it - so should you.]
