born in Australia from a Lebanese father and a German mother, Johnny Merheb has always been culturally challenged, travelling to Lebanon at an early age, Johnny became an outspoken prominent Middle Eastern political activist. Having the dream of becoming a radio broadcaster led him to form his own little radio station in Lebanon covering a 5 km radius at the age of 15, and started writing Hip Hop while learning "Old Skool" Hip Hop dance routines. Johnny M came back to OZ where he had to join the work force at an early age, so he became an apprentice and completed his electrical studies. He couldn't shy away from music and radio, so he studied Radio Broadcasting/Media and communications, and was called on to talk to a young class TAFE, which prompted the head teacher to offer him a job helping the Local Government run a program called "Youths at Risk". This became a huge success and lead him to a Job at Alchemy SBS Radio as a Broadcaster and producer. Along side his show at Alchemy he also hosted a popular show on community radio in Western Sydney on (WOW 100.7). While keeping a busy schedule at 2 Radio Stations and a fulltime job as a sparky, Johnny M started recording his hip hop demos, focusing on multicultural OZ and speaking up for minorities with a “fun-non-preaching-style”. In 2004-2005 Johnny M started performing in various venues around town, where he started making a name for himself. In 2006 he was very much involved as a Middle Eastern activist, traveling to his home country Lebanon once or twice a year and organizing marches and functions in Australia. In 2010, Johnny started writing and producing with Dj/ producer Quirksta, releasing trax through Antiblaze Records and finally after many years of dedication and hard work, Johnny M is releasing his music to the world!
