Johnny Labs, music producer, was born on November, 3rd, 1982, in Lisbon.
Presently, his musical career goes from producing original songs to producing remixes from iconic artists, like Adam Lamberts, for whom Johnny Labs produced a track for his remixes' album "Trespassing", Britney Spears, Kelly Clarkson and much more. To Johnny Labs, his music can be described as an alternative comercial genre, merging some more agressive sounds with the contagious rhythms that can be found on the dance floors. His art includes Progressive and Electro House, but frequently he incorporates in his works influences from different music genres.
His passion for music as come to being when he was 17, in his first works. Soon is mixed songs from some of the greatest pop music artists from all over the world (Madonna, Michael Jackson, Britney Spears, just to name a few) started spreading on the internet, becoming a somewhat great deal among fans of those artists, as among general dance music fans.
Being self-taught, he believes in the continuous and persistent search for knowledge, that's why he spends so many of his time exploring new sounds and tendencies which, ultimately, led him to the establishment of his own personal music studio, where he works on his songs with the cooperation of several national artists.
Johnny Labs believes this cooperation with several artists, singers and other producers has a very positive effect on his works, giving him the ability to get perspectives on future works. His art is deeply influenced by great DJ's and music producers, like R3hab, Alesso, Zedd, Steve Angello and Gigi Barroco.
He is, since 2010, one of the resident DJ's in one of Lisbon's most known discos, Trumps, where he thrives to maintain a close contact with the audience that has become more and more loyal to his music.
