This is an ode to the shoe factory in the town that I grew; Lynchburg, Virginia. Once the 5th largest shoe manufacturer in the world and largest employer in "the Hill City", I had more than one relative work there in its days of operations before most of the manufacturing end of things was outsourced to places like Wanchai, China.
