Over the last few years DJ Johnny Frenetic has built up an enviable reputation as one of the Scotland’s most in-demand DJ’s with a long list of successful club residencies, promoted nights, festival appearances, foreign tours and huge one-off events to his name.

Johnny has been the DJ and promoter behind several of Scotland’s biggest club nights during the past decade and he currently holds residencies and promoted nights in the country’s most prestigious clubs. Sustained success has come about via John’s ability to give each of his nights their own unique musical identity. This, coupled with many hours spent in the studio constantly re-inventing and revitalizing many of the tracks he plays gives his sets an original, fun and energetic party vibe, creating a real sense of excitement everywhere he plays.

Over the last 5 years Johnny has DJ’ed throughout the UK and as far afield as Ibiza, Dubai, Tenerife, The Cayman Islands and Warsaw. The last few years have also seen him in demand on the festival circuit with appearances at the UK’s biggest festivals including T in the Park, V Festival, Becks Fusions and Rockness. John has supported acts as diverse as Jazzy Jeff, Snow Patrol, Elbow, Howard Marx, Roger Sanchez, Josh Winx, The Cut-up Boys, Defected (Edinburgh Resident), Greg Wilson, DJ Dexter (Avalanches) & Hed Kandi.

2011 saw Johnny sign to the multi-million selling AV8 label in the USA as one of their in-house remixers and official DJ's after the label were seriously impressed with his creative and international sound.

Live, his Johnny Frenetic sets see him fuse together a genre-splitting 3 deck mix of funky house, electro, club classics, dubstep, classic 80’s & 90’s loops, huge urban acapellas & big indie guitar riffs with his own original mash-ups and remixes taking centre stage.
