Since the bible is considered the word of God, and there are numerous verses therein opposing homosexuality, among far worse IMMORAL things, CHRISTIANITY IS WHAT THIS IS ABOUT! You cannot cherry pick what you like in the bible, otherwise what's the point of any of that scripture's existence? CHRISTIANITY IS THE PROBLEM! (So are most other religions.)

@Stephen VanBoekel: I don't think humanity is too much of an expectation.

Thanks for all the comments everyone, some really interesting views have come up, great to see.. For the record - there's no creative editing here. We interviewed him, recorded it and uploaded it. It's all completely as it was recorded. Thanks for listening. Cheers, Serena xx

That's the kind of bs responses you "God" fearing people always pawn off instead of a real answer. "Take it up with God."? You high and mighty hate mongers must love saying that. "God" is nothing more than an idea, invented by man. "God" is given power over it's followers BY ITS FOLLOWERS. Christians are at fault and you people should take responsibility for your actions. Stop making excuses for your hate. - user6815851

Just because you don't agree, or understand scripture as I pointed out before, doesn't mean you are right. Whatever God has said, if you want to change Gods mind, talk to him, ask Him what is right. If you don't understand the scripture, pray sincerely and ask Gods will. I don't think the major even understood that scripture in Romans.

I think there is a misunderstanding, the death spoken of is conditional on whether or not you know the judgement of God. To know is more than just saying yes I read it, you have to know in your heart, with every fibre of your being that a gay lifestyle is wrong. Can you say that about every gay person? So then does death apply to every gay person with what I have said? You have to understand the scripture, don't jump to conclusions.

Hello user7116820
There is so much misinformation in what you say. No, Gay people ARE born gay and it is NOT a choice. Grow up and stop making staements that you know nothing about!
If you must says these sort of things go and say it to the right wing so-called Chritians in America! They will love you!!! Why, because they are biggots too. - Mattgay Respectsurlife

he is going to experience the real spiritual phenomenon of karma. It will , not cruelly or ever violently, like he is. But sure and strong and from a center that holds the real value of our hoped for thinking, where the non judgemental loving and compassionate "God," is. This is where peace will start, in reality, we will experience it in our hearts then, outwardly toward the whole world. May peace and love rule this planet.

I think there is an incredible misunderstanding here... When death is mentioned in this scripture, it is not suggesting that man go around and put to death those living by the flesh. As a Christian I believe there is life and death. When our physical lives come to an end, our spirit/souls live on. Those that live according to God's Word and have a relationship with Jesus Christ will live in heaven and will receive the cown of life! Those who have turned their backs on God, will be sent to Hell....
Perhaps the Major should have clairfied that when he responded to a loaded question.

Think Y'all coming down on this guy to hard! He's just standing by what he believes even if it is wrong . Everyone's entitled to their own opinion, so if you don't like what this guy's opinion is then just ignore it. Stop being so childish.
I think gay's just need to accept the fact the their are people out their who think its "unnatural" for a same sex persons to be together. Doesn't mean we don't like you, its just means that you shouldn't be alive. I mean how where you created?

Screw this guy, I think I've heard enough. Very disgusted in the Salvos. Just like most religious organisations it sounds as though they are still in the stone age.
