Welcome to John Keogh Walking Tours offering hiking and walking in Frigiliana and Nerja.

Two Towns..One Destination!

My name is John Keogh and I have been hill walking for more than 20 years. I have walked hills and mountains all over Ireland, Britain and Europe

Frigiliana is the gateway to this Sierra Almijara Natural Park. These are the most rugged mountains with fast running rivers, stunning scenery, and an abundance of wildlife, flora and fauna.
There are also great restaurants, fabulous beaches and superb mountain walks.

Here in the Axarquia there is still a strong flavor of rural Spain with its Moorish Pueblos Blanco’s or White Villages.

We have a great selection of routes for all walkers from gentle walks in the immediate vicinity, to 30km hikes with altitudes of up to 2000 meters.

I organize Guided Day Walks based on the fitness levels and stamina of the group.
Walking For Pleasure, Hiking For Health!
This is the ethos of our holidays.

We offer a personal service and an experience of mountain life in Deep Spain
.
I am a fully qualified International Travel Consultant offering walking holidays for individuals and groups.
My packages include airport transfers, accommodationin a hotel, hostal or self-catering apartment or Moorish townhouse , 5 guided walks and packed lunches in the Sierra Almijara and a personally guided tour of Malaga City,s Old Quarter with its museums, Arab Castle, Cathedrals, traditional bars and cafes.

John Keogh Walking Tours is fully licensed and insured with full permission for guided hikes from the Government of Andalucía.

If you take one holiday trip this year, make sure you visit Frigiliana and Nerja...
