The general consensus has been that "The Secret Life of Us" CD is the strongest album yet from Joey Negro's Sunburst Band. Recently managing to top the Solar Sweet Rhythms chart, Starpoint Soul Chart, Amazon Dance chart, now we start to see some of the cuts in extended remixed form.
The brassy disco funk jam "Dialed Up" gets an extended beefed up treatment from Joey Negro. As always with Sunburst tunes the instrumentation is top notch, while Noelle Scaggs vocals ride beautifully over the top.
For those who like things a bit more electronic Andreas Saag delivers a brilliant remix that retains the jazziness of the original but underpinned by a crazy syncopated bassline.
