Joey Massa is a young, talented, and above all hard working DJ and Producer hailing from Malmö, Sweden. Joey has demonstrated a love and passion for music since early childhood and continues do press on towards the physical application of that passion by becoming a prominent musician. As a youth, Joey dreamed of becoming a masterful pianist although after an introduction into the local club scene there came a realization that the technical stylings of DJ's were most suited to his tastes. It is clear that the intricacies of contemporary electronic dance music sparked what will most likely be a life long interest.

From the beginning Joey abstained from entering into a musical apprenticeship which some may claim as the most likely route for personal expansion and instead chose to apply the process of self instruction which personally felt like the way best suited for advancement. After Joey had spent a considerable amount of time in the studio honing the fine nuances that are necessary for a DJ of his caliber he eventually received assistance from a local DJ to put the final pieces of the puzzle together. Shortly there after Joey established himself as a force to be reckoned with on the local and national market.

In a considerably short period of time Joey has booked gigs at the largest clubs in his home town of Malmö, as well the various other well known establishments in Sweden such as Solidaritet & Berns in Stockholm, Peacock in Gothenburg etc. As marvelous as this is Joey has not been held back by international borders and has played in several other European countries such as Denmark and Norway including a prestigious show with the well known saxophonist Micha Da Rune in Denmark.

The list of events that Joey has had the pleasure of playing is by no means short and includes among others; Robyn Sweden Tour After-party, NRJ at the Club, SM-Veckan Malmö (Arrangemang & Efterfest), Malmö Festivalen, RixFM Festival Official Afterparty, NRJ In The Park Official Afterparty, Volkswagen Official Release (Golf R, Tiguan R, Touareg R, CC) & Ice Tropez Release Party.

The majority of Joey's current time is spent in the studio broadening his musical repertoire with various projects including the continuous effort to prepare and improve his music for upcoming shows. Joey has continued to exhibit a unique expression of his music that can only stem from countless hours of dedication towards his craft with inspiration coming from the oriental melodies of middle eastern music to the haunting lively tones of gypsy trumpet-jazz accompanied by the finest selections of current club and house music. When all of these interesting and unique musical ingredients are combined and released onto the dance-floor the result is a magnificent high tempo experience with an unstoppable amount of dancing.
