Since cutting his teeth in the EDM world at the turn of the millenium, playing trance and progressive house, it didn't take long for Joe Revell to move forward and start to hone his sound, and find his calling. By late 2001, Joe had found breakbeat, before he knew it he was all over that sound and playing alongside some of the best in the game!
He has played alongside some of New Zealand's, and the world's biggest names such as Timmy Schumacher, Antiform, Double negative, Baobinga, 30hz, Karl Sav, Vent, Hedflux, Deekline, Beta, Ed Solo and Stickybuds and that is just the tip of the iceberg for this rising star.
Alongside Ap3x, he hosted the Audio Damage radio show on Auckland's UPfm for around 6 years. Ap3x and Joe also joined forces with $ure$hot to present the 'Infectious' club night which spanned 5 years and created many a memory and good time for the NZ breakbeat loving punters.
Since moving to Australia on 2011, Joe started seriously focusing on the slower and funkier side of breaks, primarily repping Ghettofunk and Glitch hop. Since tapping into that sound he has released tunes and remixes on Breakspoll award winning "Best New Label" - Scour records (UK), Loop (NZ), Fat bird sounds (Por) and BBE(UK) securing him a worldwide following which he continues to build upon as he takes his game to the next level with every DJ set and tune that he makes.
