So , I didn't touch a guitar from 1985 until Oct 2009 ! Got back into playing with avengance ...lol...This is the first recording I've done since 1980 . Its an instrumental collaboration between Joel P and Arno West and was recorded at AGS (Arno's Garage Studio ) http://www.showcaseyourmusic.com/arno
This is truely of one of the greatest tunes ever written and full credit for the writing of this epic tune goes to the brilliant musical genius : Mr. David Gilmour .

Hey thnx Boltmanic, Arno is a pro muso / Studio operator.... , I just do this for fun.... maybe we'll do some more in the future.
This collab wasn't even planned or rehearsed . I visited Arno , just to talk sh*t about guitars 'n stuff and to jam a bit .
We both love Mr. Gilmour and it was suggested by Arno to record our jam , rather than just bugger around.
Our respective lead bits were recorded on the first take. There were 3 bits that I fluffed up badly . Those were fixed afterwards....I was so nervous,... shaking like a leaf . lol - boltmanic

Cubase software , with a Line 6 pocket pod for lead guitar fx. Waves plug-ins and the track was mastered in Wavelab.
Arno on Bass (Ibanez 5 string ) and rhythm guitar, using his beloved USA '73 Fender Stratocaster..Drums: EZ Drummer software.0.00-0.17 - Opening voices , original Pink Floyd version.
0.17-0.53 - Arno, Fender Acoustic guitar, Close mic-ed , using a SM58 and a SM57beta. Mixed the 2 mics together for a nice blend and recorded the combined sound of the mics onto 1 track. Double-tracked the parts and panned them left and right for a bit of spread. Added a bit of tops and verb afterwards. The 12-string effect by pitch-shifting the 6 string part an octave up to get the 12-string sound.
