Need a gift for a gifted musician?
Rapper and Producer Joejune who's real name is Thomas Copeland Jr. was born on Jan 11 1988 in Oceanside CA. His Parents divorced when he was 3. He was raised by his mother Deborah J Copeland a writer in Southern CA. He spent a major part of his childhood in Vista, CA. Joejune was introduced into music from a young age. Thanks to his mother he grew up listening to all types of music. His mom would spend hours playing oldies and 70's rock music throughout his early years. His introduction to the music world began with Classic Rock, and it wasn't until the 8th grade that he began his musical journey. Having grown up listening to Jimi Hendrix, Cat Stevens, the Mamas and Papas, and his favorite band The Beatles, Joejune began playing the guitar. In 2003 Joe joined a rock band in high school by the name of Death on Nile. He played with them for a brief period of time, and eventually ventured out to Hip Hop music in 2005. A year later after picking up producing, Joe moved to Murrieta, CA with a few of his best friends where he met his best friend’s older brother by the name of Jay Ricks. Jay Ricks was also into Hip Hop, so Joe and Jay joined forces and they created a Hip Hop group formally known as The WERCS. Joe's group performed shows throughout San Diego, CA for 3 years, and even with the creation of the group, he continued to produce and work on music of his own. In 2011 Joe decided to showcase some of his music. The local buzz was all the feedback he needed to know that music is where his heart needed to be. JoeJune continues to create and produce music, and will forever strive to touch the lives of many through sound.
