London based house devotee Joe Europe has been working hard for the past few years honing his trademark deep, dubbed-out sound drawing in influences from all corners of the musical spectrum. Whether it’s from scratchy old Chicago House and Detroit Techno records, hip hop, jazz, dub or anything else under the sun, Joe has always tried to fuse these influences into his sound.

An electronic music fanatic from a tender young age Joe has always been involved with either playing records, putting on parties or fiddling with synthesizers. Joe co-runs an under-the-radar party in the east end of London called Ears Have Eyes. Set in a secret warehouse location, the night takes a musical journey through psych-rock, funk, disco, house and techno all accompanied by off the wall visuals and indie films.

His debut release came in 2009, and since then he has put out music on a diverse range of labels from across the globe. So far his music has turned some heads and received support from the likes of Moodymanc, Ralf Lawson, Tim Green, Iron Curtis and Ste Roberts (Hypercolour).

Joe has had a busy 2011 so far with his track 'Smash and Grab' being featured on the 'We Love... Vitalik' compilation mixed by Jozif and Ryan O'Gorman and also further releases coming up on Falk Records and Vitalik Recordings.
