Ever since he was a little boy, Jocan has been fond of drawing and arts in general. His big willingness of becoming a Dj began in his early adolescence when he started being interested in music. He used to play with some friends just as a hobbie. Later on, he was able to access to sound devices of friends who played at parties and thereafter, he decided to become a Dj star.

He took some dj classes and soon, by his own, kept on practicing, leading him to develop his musical hearing and starting playing at parties and raves. He soon became interested in audio engineering and took some courses. Little by little, he began witnessing how the raver scenario was changing and becoming worn away, fact that led him to keep on learning and changing to new kinds of music: from Ambient to Modern Electronic, from House and Techno with their very own tendencies, to Drum & Bass, Acid Jazz, UK Garage & Dubstep and the sound experimentation: "These different types of music have fulfilled me and given me the opportunity to get a distinct criterion, and a pleasure to fuse 4/4 and syncopated music that I keep on performing."

Jocan is not a rule follower. He loves changes. He "deforms" the tracks structures with different effects, playing with samplers when mixing, according to his very personal feeling during the performances, keeping the line which allows the set to flow..."I vary the different kinds of electronic music with treble and bass sounds if I feel like it. I like to get in the music and it can be felt. It's the way I express myself."

He has played at many places: clubs, fashionable bars, and at parties both, in Mexico city and in other states of the Mexican Republic: "I am interested in creating something different in the Mexican scenario. I am an art lover and I share part of my time in other artistic expressions as graphic dessign and animation. My willing is to fuse music with all of them."
