    Verse 1
    Everybody's looking for a hero
Somebody you know saving the day is their steelo
Someone who wears an 'S' on their chest
A real Superman who never settles for less
We see these people on the T.V.
They rap and sing, they run and jump man they got heat
We put their posters on the wall
And love 'em even though we don't know 'em at all
We look at all of that money
The fame and the fortune and all of those honey's
We wish that we could have what they have
Overlooking that we have all we need in our dad
But the kind of man your dad is
He understands superficial fascinations as a kid
So he buys you a jersey with another man's name
And he buys you the tickets to another man's game
    You wanna be like Mike
Tongue wagging and floating through the air would be tight
An athlete speaks and yep it sits cool with u
Pops says the same thing and yet you think he's a fool
Your dad is dropping all that wisdom
While people you look up to are going to prison
We'd rather give props to so many other people
Without knowing if they have respect for the steeple
Who is it sitting in the stands
Screaming go ahead son as the ball meets your hands
He always says you're the man
Telling you you'll far exceed him if you just have a plan
Sometimes he has a stern hand
And his words cut sharper than a knife ever can
But your dad's the man with the master plan
And there's no greater man so let's give him a hand

This is for all of you daddies
North to the South New York to Cali
    If you're holding it down
And your kids know who you are because you're always around
You don't mind coming in last
You see that as the role of a dad
    Yea this is for you
We celebrate the men who stand up for truth
    You're not a fad
    You're an All-Pro Dad!!!

    Verse 2
    I'm saluting all the poppas
I know a mother's love but this song is for the fathers
For taking little Johnny to the field
And playing catch wit 'em when nobody else will
You worked hard all day and rode the bus home
But you still took time to teach 'em right and wrong
When tragedy struck and hit your fam like a stone
Daddy was the one that everybody else could lean on
You helped your kids do good in school
Doing your very best was the main house rule
Your own education level didn't matter
You still servin' wisdom and you serve it on a platter
You talked to them 'bout the meaning of life
And you could always be found on your knees at night
You're not perfect, naw, you don't always do right
But you tried so hard to be that salt and light yea
Father's Day comes once a year
But everyday being your child I hope they hold it dear
I hope they realize the gift
When the chips were down and it was rough you didn't dip
    You're a pillar of stone
They can try but they'll never ever make another clone
Your kids will realize it if not now when their grown
They rode life on your back and you just told 'em get on
    You provide invisible protection
If it's not right for your fam it sees rejection
    Fighting for your kids unseen
Against the darkness in the world you're like Muhammad Ali
You always drive 'em where they need to go
You pay the bills so they can sit and watch their favorite show
They may not say it but I know that their glad
To have a man like you as their All-Pro Dad
