I live right near Montreal, Canada, and I love playing guitar.
March 23rd 2013, I deleted 11 songs from this Soundcloud. (This is more of a note to self.)
The HTML5 widget is faster, easier to share and you can comment and like the sound right away. Works on mobile too!
It's a good song, and the lyrics and production are good, but I think it could benefit from more practice. Then you would have a really refined song.
The guitar tone is great, and the delay is really cool. But it seems imprecise and arrhythmic in quite a few spots.
Singing is extra good here!
Ah this is one groovy blues tune, man!
A lot of your playing reminds me of Harry Manx
This is a lovely song.
Some new sounds here, I like this a lot!
@Jay Arana: Thanks! And I'm totally following you now. I may end up taking inspiration from your playing.
@Katherine Chatham: Thank you!
This is good, nice cover! My one criticism is maybe the voice is too soft for this song... But that's just a matter of taste. Well done!
I love the spatial qualities in this song. It's so wide. And that's some great playing.
This is damn good.
Love the rhythm, great singing and great playing, too.
@Sunnidayz: I wish you a speedy recovery. You're awesome! Thank you for listening to and reposting my tracks.
Thank you very much!
@LA LISA MAGDALENO: Thanks!
@Blues JAMM: Thanks!
@Sunnidayz: Sucks to hear about your amp. Maybe you can get it fixed for cheaper than buying a new one. Unless you want a new, better sounding amp. Then this is the perfect excuse
@delorangeade: Actually, I'm using a Boss Digital Reverb on the amp mic channel. And no reverb on the condenser mic.
@◄Jungle♦DOG►: And again, it totally would be great if you added drums and bass to some of my tracks.
@◄Jungle♦DOG►: Haha, yeah. Sometimes you just get into the groove and forget where you're at.
@Sunnidayz: Heh, signal chains can get silly. Thanks for listening!
Thanks George! I'd love for you to add your talents to this track. I'll set it up for download.
Excellent song! Very chill.
@Jordan Coppola: Thanks
This is damn groovy
Bit of a Doors vibe to some parts of the song
By the way, loving that crazy saw pad/background lead with filtery goodness and all that jazz.
All this is awesome! And while I know it's in the nature of progressive music to be long, I think you should try to make a 3 minute version of this song someday. At that length, no section would seem too long, and it would be more intense. Think of it as a distilled version of this track. More potent.
Sweet sounds, I like it.
@◄Jungle♦DOG►: Thank you! I'm glad the effort I put into this shows!
It would be good if you just fixed that kind of wimpy lead guitar tone here. The rest is nice and heavy spaghetti western.
Totally different, really awesome, too!
Heh, I'm listening to this on a marvelous spring day here in Canada. Warm and sunny, just like this song!
Awesome ending and awesome track.
