DJ & Producer J:Kenzo is a much sought after player in the worldwide Dubstep landscape. His signature sound blends Dub Dread Vibes with echoes of Jungle and Techno. This is reflected in both his studio productions and DJ sets both in the club and on the radio. The J:Kenzo DJ set is built with the skills of a long time DJ ready to test the toughest of Sound-systems and rock the hardest of dance-floors. J:Kenzo takes pride in his DJ sets with a an always upfront, heavyweight selection blended seamlessly.

Since 2008 his productions have appeared on some of the most important and indeed foundation labels in the Dubstep scene. Names such as Tempa, Black Box, Dub Police, Argon Records, 2nd Drop and his own imprint Artikal Music UK have all plotted the musical progression of this important producer.

In Late 2010 J:Kenzo’s music caught the ear of veteran Dubstep DJ and Tempa A&R man DJ Youngsta. With support from Youngsta, J:Kenzo's 2011 production 'The Roteks' was launched to Dubstep audiences worldwide. Both his follow up singles for Tempa 'Ruff House' and 'Invaderz' caused maximum damage, not only on the dancefloor but on radio stations all around the world. The next step for Tempa and J:Kenzo was his debut album, which was released in September 2012 to unanimous praise.

From May 2011 to August 2012 J:Kenzo worked for BBC 1Xtra carrying out a fortnightly 1 Hour mix for Mistajam's ‘Daily Dose of Dubstep’ section. The mix showcased exclusive dubplates and Kenzo's take on the unique sound he is pushing from the Dubstep scene. J:Kenzo continues to represent his sound and skills with his dedicated monthly slot on London's vital underground music hub, Rinse FM.

Forward to 2013, Kenzo has been approached by Tempa to compile and mix an instalment of their legendary ‘Dubstep Allstars’ mix CD. Volume 11 will showcase J:Kenzo’s take on today’s Dubstep scene and will be accompanied by a new 4 track EP of exclusive brand new J:Kenzo productions due for release in the Summer of 2013.

J:Kenzo's devoted fan base, coupled with his passionate commitment and professional approach has seen him tour Worldwide entertaining crowds from Dubai to Japan to North America and all over Europe. With resident sets at leading Dubstep night 'FWD', London's prestigious 'Fabric' nightclub and much coveted sets at festivals like Global Gathering and Outlook.

Cementing himself as a scene leader in both DJing and production with every release and DJ set, it is very clear that J:Kenzo will continue to progress into the future at the forefront of his chosen vocations.
