DJ & Producer J:Kenzo is an important, much sought after player in the worldwide Dubstep landscape. His signature sound blends Dub Dread Vibes with echoes of Jungle and Techno. This is reflected in both his studio productions and DJ sets. The J:Kenzo DJ set is built with the skills of a long time DJ ready to test the toughest of Soundsystems and rock the hardest of dancefloors. J:Kenzo takes pride in his DJ sets with a heavyweight selection applying seamless blending and double drop mixing.

Since 2008, his productions have appeared on some of the founding labels in the Dubstep scene. Names such as Tempa, Black Box, Dub Police, Argon Records, 2nd Drop and his own imprint Artikal Music UK have all plotted the musical progression of this important producer.

2012 has seen this bright ascending name take his sound and global reputation to a new level with his debut album on arguably Dubsteps most vital imprint 'Tempa'.

Late 2010 saw J:Kenzo tracks catch the ear of veteran Dubstep DJ and Tempa A&R man DJ Youngsta. With support from Youngsta, J:Kenzo's 2011 production 'The Roteks' was launched to Dubstep audiences worldwide, creating huge anticipation. Sparking mass debate on internet forums and social networking sites regarding the tracks release details, pioneering Dubstep label Tempa was the eventual home of this landmark track for J:Kenzo. This release backed with flipside 'Protected' boosted Kenzo's name within the scene and has had support from many of the top selectors within Dubstep including Hatcha, N-Type, Distance and Emalkay, as well as veteran Techno DJ Laurent Garnier.

Both his follow up singles for Tempa 'Ruff House' and 'Invaderz' caused maximum damage, not only on the dancefloor but on radio stations all around the world. The next step for Tempa and J:Kenzo was his debut album, which was released in September 2012 to unanimous praise.

Starting in May 2011 J:Kenzo worked for BBC 1Xtra and carrying out a fortnightly 1 Hour mix for Mistajam's Daily Dose of Dubstep section. The mix showcased exclusive dubplates and Kenzo's take on the unique sound he is pushing from the Dubstep scene. J:Kenzo continues to represent his sound and skills regularly on London's vital underground music hub, Rinse FM.

J:Kenzo's devoted fan base, coupled with his passionate commitment and professional approach has seen his touring pick up with huge pace. With resident sets at leading Dubstep night 'FWD' , London's prestigious 'Fabric' nightclub, and regular European dates the level was lifted again in 2012 with sets at Brixton Academy, Global Gathering and Outlook Festival. 2012 will be topped off by stretching out to an extensive United States tour, and it is plain to see the heat continues to rise around this Kent-based selector...
