In 2009, Jimmy decided to move to Melbourne and link up with local breaks DJ, FLIP3k. The two had met each other in 2006 while they were 'studying', and found an instant musical bond. Since migrating, Jimmy has gone from strength to strength as both a DJ and producer, with both solo releases and collaborations; the most notorious of which being his partnership with FLIP3k as 'What Now?'

In 2011, Jimmy le Mac & FLIP3k started 'Loophole Recordings'; a record label aimed to promote the work of themselves, and a growing list of talented producers that Melbourne and the rest of Australia has to offer, over a wide range of styles and sounds.
