ALL INSTRS. / VCLS ON SONGS BY JIMY A.
Able To Front as Lead Singer or Lead Singer/Lead Guitar & I luv to share the Frontline with other talented Front people.
Direct from NYC, this dynamic performer has been professionally onstage since his junior high school days. Showcasing a unique mix of influences such as James Brown, Michael Jackson, Nat King Cole, Steve Perry, Al Green, Chris B, Ne-yo, George Benson, Prince, Ray Charles, Jonny Lang, Steve Tyler and many others, his stage show never fails to deliver excitement to his various audiences
Jimy’s formal training includes the High School of Performing Arts, Berklee College of Music and Greenwich House School of Music, which makes covering an enormous range of genres his specialty. Although Jimy is a former Columbia/Def Jam recording artist having had media mogul Russell Simmons as his personal manager, he is among the VERY few singer/musicians who not only takes pride in performing cover material, but presents this material with incomparable originality, including the moves to make it all work beautifully.
Truly, Jimy is a front man specifically designed to sell an act without the distraction of an overbearing ego. It is his belief that the front man/front people must harmoniously blend with the band to bring the act to a higher level.
