I started writing music for mobile games about 10 years ago and have experimented with a range of genres depending on the needs of the game. My style has sometimes been called "retro" or "cheezy", perhaps because most commissions have been for themes rather than underscore, so I often look to film themes for inspiration. Note that many of the older game themes were commissioned as midi files, so bear this in mind when you listen to them - the sound quality may not be what you expect! I'll redo these old themes with better samples and effects one day - honest!
