Liverpool based audio geek Alan McDermott has been manipulating sound in one form or another since the mid 80's. Starting out with a guitar at the age of 5, he's finally confident that he's got the hang of bar chords at the age of 34. Over the years, electronic music and sound design have taken over as the predominant audio forces in his life.

Working as an Audio Director for Playstation, Alan's time is stretched thin, but he has found the time to be involved in many private projects over the years, such as Sandspider (Worm Interface) (Millennium Records) with Matt Embleton (Snakestyle) but most recently as Jiffster where he has begun releasing free music on Soundcloud.
