I know it sounds cliché, but I actually got interested in "DJ'ing" after watching the movie "Juice".(Tupac, Omar Epps..) Not too long after, I withdrew money from my savings & bought some used stanton Belt-drive tables and radio-shack mixer. Growning up, I was always intrigued by mixtape of other DJ's. Listening to music mixed smoothly from one track to another was lot better than the usual pressing of "next track" button on a CD player or FF on a tape deck. But, I could never find the mixtape or mixes of stuff that I liked 100%. So I started Dj'ing to make mixes of what I like to listen to. Years later & after many equipment upgrades, I'm still in the mix.
I make mixes that people around me enjoy, but most importantly, I mix music that I enjoy. If my style is up to your liking, glad I can share these mixes with you. If this isn't your cup of tea, I'm sure you can find someone that plays your style of music on soundcloud. =) Enjoy!!!!
