Hey I'm Jess :) I'm a student currently studying Music Composition and Technology at the University of Hertfordshire. I love music for film, video games and any other form of sountrack and aspire to compose for this media in the future. I also write songs which I will put up at some point :P

Other things I do include singing and playing piano and I also love performing in theatre and have studied A level performing arts specialising in musical theatre. I have written music for original plays devised by myself and fellow students, this includes a dark remake of the classic children's story "Alice in Wonderland", and I have sang and performed in a number of shows and events.
I also wrote a song for the national charity event "Blue Friday" in aid of anti bullying which was performed to the local community in my area in 2008. I have also competed in the event "Community Idol" where I gained a place in the final competing against contestants from other schools around the county of North Yorkshire.

Software I use for my work:

Mostly at the moment I use Reason to create my compositions but I also use Logic Pro provided at my University.
I also know how to use Cubase and Sibelius and some of my older pieces have been written using this software.
