About
The sounds of Detroit and Chicago – two cities that made an impact on the music scene – have a major influence on Jesse Rivera. Music always played a major role in his life, in particular when he started learning guitar at the age of 15 and playing in various bands.
Once Jesse was introduced to house music he started buying records and learning how to program a sequencer and synthesizer. Soon after, DJing and producing strengthened his connection with music. He moved from Detroit to Chicago in 2001, studied sound engineering, and began collaborating with other producers. Jesse teamed up with Jose Zaragoza in 2008 to start Deep Hype Sounds, while releasing and remixing tracks for the label.
Jesse continues to evolve his sound by experimenting with new technology and from observing what makes people react on the dance floor. His music has been charted and supported by some of house music's most respected DJs, and also featured on various compilations.
