Brede has been a staple of the electronic music scene in Austin, Texas since 1999. With roots in house muisc, Jesse built his reputation by playing alongside top performers such as Deadmau5, Digweed, Sander Kleinenbeg, Chris Fortier, Sasha, James Zabiela, Adam Freeland, Satoshi Tomiie, Josh Wink, Lee Burridge and many more.. In 2010, Jesse founded Gravitas Recording, a record label and creative collective that includes an all-star cast of local and national talents with a focus on producing, djing, vjing, video mapping, sound, lasers, and lighting. The label’s first release, a 24 track multi-genre compilation, has been downloaded over 10k times with much accolades and enthusiasm.

As the electronic music scene has evolved so has Jesse. His sound has become more diverse through tempo and genre changes. He now produces and mixes glitchhop, dubstep, triphop, and downtempo with a focus on quality and depth. Jesse’s latest project “BREDE”, pronounced “BRAY-DA”, focuses on the live performance by including live instruments, dancers, visuals, projection mapping and props to create a sonically and visually stimulating performance. BREDE has been well received with billings at major electronic music festivals Art Outside and Nocturnal and gigs with Bonobo, PANTyRAiD, Dieselboy, Blockhead, Nadis Warriors, BOOMBOX, ill-esha, and Stephan Jacobs.
