Jesse Aosta is a New York City based singer-songwriter. While growing up in New York City, Jesse was influenced by many factors and was introduced to music by his mother who was trained in ballroom and modern dance. His love for music continued and by the end of high school, he wrote songs for a few of his friends who wanted to start a group. When the group disbanded, one of Jesse’s good friends suggested that he become a singer-songwriter since he always sang whenever she saw him. Jesse saw some light in that statement and started to prepare for his new musical path. Jesse began to write songs for himself and was heavily influenced by the music he grew up on from artists such as Human League, David Bowie, Michael Jackson, Mariah Carey, and Depeche Mode. He also tried every genre of music before realizing his heart lied in Electronic Pop Music. Through Electronic Pop, Jesse found a maturity that he never saw before in his music and found that certain elements of different genres like R&B vocal arrangements and deep meaningful lyrics that are found in Rock highlighted his music even more. This melding of many cultures in music has brought Jesse's music to a higher plane and is now ready for lift off.
