    LOL: Discovering the "Doppler" modulation: Mozart and Doppler both lived in Salzburg. What if Doppler were biking by Mozart's window just as he was playing his Sonata in C (K545)? If he passes Mozart's window just as he finises bar 2, it might sound like in bar 3, instead of going to the sub-dominant second inversion, that he instead played: [right hand: g#..f#,b : left hand: b,g#,e,g#...] thereby modulating down a semi-tone to Bmajor from C, (and a slightly slower tempo too!) Einstein would appreciate this modulation, I'm sure!
