No band, just me and some software. Lead & rhythm guitar were composed and recorded by me. The drums were generated from band in a box and I modified them in guitar pro. Thanks

Glad this song took you on a smooth ride on the parkway. Funny thing about the parkway reference is the title “blue parkway” was actually inspired by Charlie “Park”er and some of his bebop “blues” tunes. The rhythm is basically a 12 bar blues with embellishments. The heavy use of dominant chords gives it an unresolved quality while the diminished chords give it a dissonant feel that I really liked. I tried to incorporate a lot of question and answer passages in the solos to make it more cohesive. The “smooth precision” that you mentioned is the result of months of playing and recording. Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for listening.

Great job creating tension and release in the music, especially with the effects.

Very rhythmic, almost reminiscent of a clock.

Very trippy and dreamscape-ish. It pushes my thoughts back while pulling my memories forward.

I think the darker, antagonistic 2nd section (“Now she feels alone”, etc) provides a perfect counterbalance to the deceivingly tranquil 1st section.

You seem very comfortable within your voice. The words themselves and how you enunciate them seem very intentional and carefully calculated. Your lyrical intent sounds premeditated, but you deliver them in a meditated state (a vocal paradox if you will).
