It's funny what you conjure up as a composition takes shape ... This title practically says it all, but just to be faithful to the images that were going through my head at the time ... Picture an entire middle-eastern city on the verge of being wiped off the map by ruthless armed forces. A woman, on her knees in the heat and deafening roar of awaiting tanks, waves her arms frantically and gestures towards the city walls in a desperate attempt to emplore the enemy - if not to spare her peoples' lives - to open their eyes to the beauty and cultural significance of all they are about to destroy ...
