If you want some critical feedback, I just have to say the parts sound to basic. The drums need some groove applied maybe, and the bassline is just to plain. Maybe offset it so it doesn't start on the downbeat? just trying to help.. :)

this is a really cool track as it is. if i had to think of how i'd change it on the remix, i think it's be fun to pull back on the synths a bit and step up the percussive energy of the track. that's just my 2 cents.. i have an uneasy relationship with synth and pad sounds in general but i'm learning to appreciate them. anyhow, another very cool track from you.. good luck with it! -mf

@mostlyfodder: i used to really hate synth pads too but fell in love with it after a couple of top notch vinyl came to my possession a few years ago. guess its a bit like marmite though, you either love it or hate it, one thing true though is it really helps to fill the space

i guess since you took out the congas something needs to feel the void. Its missing some percs and the hi hats are muffed maybe some eq cutting on the bass. It has potential. A higher line kinda floaty flowing the low bline pad thing would make it etheral which is the vibe im getting

Lovely Tune. I would suggest you add some break into just conga and mild bass - or something like that. Perhaps it groove lots more if you make it a little breezier, so if you come back to you strong dance-elements it will get the tune over the edge. By the way - I should say this to all my music too :) .
