I started playing the Hammond B3 Organ at the age of 5. My first notes were some old Jimmy Smith notes I had found. My parents send me to a music teacher so that it would be not boring for me at home. The Hammond was from a neighbor who died and nobody knew what to do with this heavy thing. I liked the rotating of the Leslie-Effect.
Later I switched to piano and played the hardest and most difficult pieces for piano. Parallel I always played easy listening music and jazz. My later teacher played also Jazz so that was funny. Later I went to a music school but didn´t want to be a professional musician. I played in a lot of Jazz-Bands, Big Bands and also was Bandleader of the famous Grammy winner Marla Glen in 2001. I also did many recordings as a studio musician in all kind of styles. Now the children are bigger and I have a little bit of time. My aim is to find my funky style that could be mixed with Latin style and all other stuff. I just try out in my little home studio and when I think it´s good I want to start a band with my pieces.
