The tunnel ended on a cliff face overlooking a vibrant landscape that the boy had only ever imagined. As he stood at the cavern's opening his posture dropped. So much that the wind behind Cloud's flight nearly cut him down, but yet merely crinkled the air around him, causing his body to twitch toward the empty space momentarily and his sunlit hair to explode on a tether before settling back in place. His eyes widened, producing a citrine glisten against the morning sun that awoke over the mountains opposite. The corners of the boy's lips curled at the edges, fraying from the unfamiliar heat of the sun but producing a smile. The boy was standing on the edge of another world.
