About

Drawn in through the london rave scene, Jay Pace began playing techno at free parties across the UK in the nineties, and later went on to found the Black Box soundsystem, now one of the UK's longest running techno nights.

His dj sets draw on influences from rave and old school house and techno, and as a producer he explores tone and texture through stripped down grooves, blending elements of detroit, acid and minimal into his sound.

As well as having shared a dj booth with some of the world's leading techno artists, he is also an established producer with tracks in heavy rotation amongst techno giants such as Richie Hawtin, Dubfire and Laurent Garnier.
