Dirty Inc are an electro partnership based in the south of the UK made up of Jon Merritt and Jay Hales. With several quality productions for both commercial house and hard dance markets under the belt over the last eight years, they have since moved into electro and have been commissioned for several remixes by various labels such as Liberty City, Nitrous, Aracde Riot, Kill for This, Pioneer Records, Big Love and Freedom Recordings. Their recent floorfiller remix of 'New Jack Heights' was at the number one spot on the biggest download website for nearly a month. It's fair to say they're a duo that the electro scene has quickly embraced as their own.
Their DJ schedule shows no sign of slowing either with high-profile room two residencies for the mighty Slinky and award-winning Frenzy. On top of that the boys have supported acts such as Ferry Corsten, Paul Van Dyk, Amber D, Lee Haslam, The Tidy Boys, Lisa Lashes, and Sonny Wharton over the last year. Internationally they recently took top billing at the Extreme Dream open air festival in Slovenia.
So how does a Dirty Inc live set differ from all the many other DJs out there? Expect to hear their own quality productions and mash-ups plus a carefully selected progression of dirty electro... but they also make a point of the performance and inject some much needed rock and roll ethos onto the stage.
Having recently launced their own record label Dirty Trax, it would seem like these guys have the world at their feet with the complete package. This year shows no signs of letting up for Jon and Jay so make sure you check them out from a dancefloor near you soon.
