Javi Frias is one of the most restless members of the black music scene in Spain, whether in his role as a record collector, DJ, radio host, or as the drummer of the soul band Al Supersonic & The Teenagers (Unique Records).
Since the late nineties has had the opportunity to play in the best groove clubs and festivals, being now resident DJ at Marula Café Madrid every friday, and playing all over his country and Europe in places like Paris, Barcelona, Antwerp, San Sebastián, Hamburg, Valencia, Strasbourg, Dusseldorf, Leipzig or Granada, and festivals like Jazzaldia or Cultura Inquieta.
His sessions are always elegant, addictive and eclectic, with an impressive variety of styles and 100% on vinyl: soul, jazz, funk, rare grooves, disco, boogie, house, modern grooves...
