Javi Frias is one of the most restless members of the black music scene in Spain, whether in his role as a record collector, DJ and radio host, or as the drummer of the granadian "soul boys' Al Supersonic & The Teenagers. Since the late nineties has had the opportunity to play in the best groove clubs throughout his country and parts of Europe, and is currently resident DJ of Afrodisia Club, Boogaclub, Planta Baja and Sugarpop in Granada. His sessions are always elegant, addictive and eclectic, with an impressive variety of styles 100% on vinyl: soul, jazz, funk, r&b, rare grooves, latin, brazilian, disco, boogie, modern grooves...

He's been doing several radio shows since 2002. In 2007 he started Sound Dimension, a weekly radio show where you can find the best in underground black music, from the vintage sounds to the latest, quality electronic evolution of these grooves, always with and elegant, educational and addictive point of view. You can listen it at ScannerFM (Barcelona), Right On FM (Strasbourg, France), Radiopellenera (Italia) and Canora Radio (Madrid).
