About

Jason Mythos started as a Rave DJ in 1997. He was known for his club pounding German Hard Trance sets and sunrise British Melodic Trance sets. In time Jason began to study computer technology along with music and progressed into a remix and recording artist. Jason uses Linux and Reaper for audio production, remixing and mastering. In the past Jason was professionally endorsed by JRave as a DJ and by Gemini Sound Products as a product tester. He was also a contributing editor to FAQT magazine (MindField Media) and formerly represented MindField Records Label (York, PA).

Jason placed in a remix contest for the song "Loyalty" for Industrial artist Christina Marie Magenta and was featured on the remix compilation CD in 2012. As a remix artist Jason has been featured on several remix compilations including the likes of Blue Stahli, GreenOx, TweakerRay, Yang Watanabe and Biophobic. Additionally Jason has mastered tracks for various artists including the entire "Remixed" CD by Christina Marie Magenta.

Jason has released a number of Creative Commons projects, from remix stems from several of his productions and even an entire album at Ektoplazm, the world largest PsyTrance and Free Music Portal.
