Glitch Hop Forum Attack Of The B... Bwamp, Womp, and Stomp
Track 1 of 4 on my That Boogie EP, coming out on Simplify recordings in May!
For those who are curious: The whole breakdown is written in 3/32 time, the hi hat that comes in around 0:40 is on every triplet note of the original melody. So that established a new tempo, then in that new tempo i wrote everything in a "4/4" vibe. To do this, the signature was at 3/32. Tempo is still 176 till about 1:58 where I speed it up to about 266. A third of 266 is approximately 88, so the old tempo was restored before the drop. Actually if you take a third of 176, you get approximately 58.6 or 117 written full time. Thats the tempo of the whole breakdown. And you take a third because of the triplet stuff I was talking about before lol
Share if ya dig it! :)

Not doing your self justice not using a REAL piano here. No excuses on that one Hahaha. This track deserves an acoustic piano. I prefer a real acoustic piano any day. Just my opinion. But it's possible I'm just old.

@NotVerySound (NVS): this section isn't, only the breakdown is. you can tell if you listen closely from 0;30 to 0;50. at 0;44 that hi hat comes in, but its triplet vibe therefore both tempos still work on that melody (tap your foot to the old tempo, and you'll see that this new tempo will still work out). Then once i brought in that new hi hat long enough to establish a new tempo i just wrote the whole section in 3/32. then i sped the whole track up in 3/32, i think the tempo automation went from 178 to like 260 so that in 3/32 time it seemed like the tempo was back to 178. haha shit this is hard to explain. then in that long pause before the drop, i switch the signature back to 4/4 and tempo back down to 178, then just copy/pasted the whole section again. idk hope that helps? i can screen shot it if you like
