About

Jamie Carmichael is an up and coming DJ from Glasgow whos passion for Techno music started around two years ago after hearing mixes by artists such as Gary Beck, Sasha Carrassi and Slam while at a party in a friends house one weekend. After that he has not looked back and kept his techno journey going till present. Jamie got his first set of decks around 10 years ago which allowed him to practice and develop his own technique of mixing and after he caught the Techno bug upgraded his equipment then started making mixes consisting of deep dark techno which caught the attention of listeners landing him a gig at a night called The Difference in Club 69. He went on to become a resident there all through 2011 Playing alongside big names such as Graeme Reedie and Hans Bouffmyhre. During that time jamie also played at nights such as DC69, Uberfest, Room at the Top, various boat partys held at Loch Lomond and also getting his debut playing The Arches at Supernova alongside Hernan Cattaneo. he has the unique ability to adapt to any style from tech-house to industrial style techno allowing him to belt out a quality set at any time of the night which is not always found in a DJ, so the future is looking promising for this young DJ.
Jamie has also taken a keen interest in production and is currently studying Sound Production at college, he has also started on his own productions recently as well so who knows what surprises may be in store for the future,
