Elliptical Sun Melodies is once again proud to bring you another melody driven release, this time coming from an artist that we have and always will love…James Woods. Having already completed several different projects for us already, James comes to us with an immaculate 3 track EP titled “Montreal EP” which we immediately knew was going to be something extremely special since James will soon be moving to Montreal and wanted to do something in honor of his big move. This 3 track masterpiece not only brings out all the greatest elements that James has to offer, but it also brings a fresh new sound from James that we believe many will find absolutely mesmerizing. To kick off this release we have the EP titled track “Montreal” which is an absolute melodic gem that not packs on the serene melodic layers but also brings some incredible drive and energy that truly delivers on all fronts. Packing some nice punch styled kick drums, crisp percussion, vibrant bass and peak styled synths, the track all in all has an incredible structure and really builds itself up perfectly from beginning to end. Next up we have the track titled “Omega” which is one production from James that we were incredibly surprised by as it is 100% deep driving melodies and high octane energy…a much different change up from James’ normal style and one we are very impressed with to say the least. Driving melodies with a tint of darkness, pumping kick drums, throbbing bass and an all-around driving energy are just the beginning of what you will find in this track. Last but certainly not least we have the track titled “Eternal” which is really rounds out this EP in the best way possible. Bringing just as much variation as the last two tracks, Eternal takes the listener to a more deep infused realm that is rich with warm euphoric pads, nice deep styled bass, soft yet punching kicks, serene piano stabs, and an all-around deep heavenly feeling that is by far one of the most lavishing sounds we have heard from James to date. We are so incredibly proud and honored to bring you all this amazing EP and hope that you all find it to be as gorgeous and satisfying as we do.
